About the Role
A friendly two-form entry Tower Hamlets primary school is searching for a nurturing Teaching Assistant to join their Year 1 team this January. The successful Teaching Assistant will provide a mix of classroom support and one-to-one assistance for a pupil with speech and language needs.
The role is ideal for a Teaching Assistant who enjoys early development, phonics, hands-on learning, and helping pupils build confidence socially and academically.
The Ideal Candidate
The school is looking for a Teaching Assistant who:
Has experience in KS1 or supporting early communication needs
Can implement simple intervention activities set by the SENCO and SaLT
Is patient, engaging, and good at building rapport
Works well in a structured but creative environment
