A Teaching Assistant is needed in a Mixed Secondary School & Sixth Form in South London.
This will be a full time, long term Teaching Assistant post, with scope to go permanent.
Working hours at the school are 8am to 4pm for a Teaching Assistant.
Responsibilities for this Teaching Assistant role will include but not be limited to:
- Supporting identified students in 1:1, group or whole class situations
- Working with the teachers to ensure each student's learning needs are identified
- Leading small group sessions and interventions
- Attending to students' personal needs when required
- Supporting behaviour management and using appropriate strategies in line with academy policy
- Undertaking learning activities/teaching programmes when needed
The rates of pay for this Teaching Assistant position will be between £90 to £100 a day, depending on the qualifications and experiences of each applicant.

Requirements
Applications are welcome if you are a recent Graduate or experienced Teaching Assistant.
You are also welcome to apply if you are a British trained Teaching Assistant or overseas trained Teaching Assistant.
All applicants to this Teaching Assistant role must have the following in order to be considered for this position as a Teaching Assistant:
- Right to work in the UK
- Clear and up to date Enhanced DBS
- UK Bachelor's Degree or overseas equivalent
- Previous experience of working with children or teenagers
