SEN Teaching Assistant - Behaviour Support - Primary School - Haringey
We are recruiting a confident and proactive SEN Teaching Assistant to work in a Haringey primary school, supporting children with ASD, ADHD, and behavioural challenges.
This Teaching Assistant position involves working closely with pupils who require strong boundaries, emotional support, and consistent routines to thrive in the classroom.
As a Teaching Assistant, you will:
Teaching Assistant to support pupils with ASD and behaviour needs on a 1:1 basis
Teaching Assistant to assist with de-escalation and positive behaviour management
Teaching Assistant to deliver structured interventions as directed by the teacher and SENCo
Act as a positive role model within the school environment
This role is suited to a Teaching Assistant who:
Has experience supporting challenging behaviour in primary settings
Is confident, patient, and emotionally resilient
Understands SEN strategies and inclusive practice
Can work collaboratively as part of a school team
Applicants must have an Enhanced DBS on the update service or be willing to apply for one through us.
