Teaching Assistant - 1:1 SEND Support - Primary School - Haringey
A Primary School in Haringey is seeking a resilient and experienced Teaching Assistant to provide 1:1 SEND support. This Teaching Assistant role will focus on supporting a pupil with ASD and behavioural needs.
The successful Teaching Assistant will provide structured support, implement behaviour strategies, and adapt learning materials to meet the child's needs. As a Teaching Assistant, you will work closely with the class teacher and SENCO to ensure progress is made both academically and socially.
Teaching Assistant Key Requirements:
Experience supporting ASD as a Teaching Assistant
Strong behaviour management skills as a Teaching Assistant
Ability to deliver personalised learning plans as a Teaching Assistant
Supporting regulation and sensory breaks as a Teaching Assistant
Providing consistent routines as a Teaching Assistant
Building positive relationships with pupils as a Teaching Assistant
Communicating effectively with staff and parents as a Teaching Assistant
This Teaching Assistant role requires confidence, structure, and a calm approach.
Applicants must have an Enhanced DBS on the update service or be willing to apply for one through us.
