SEN Teaching Assistant (KS1/KS2) - SE London Primary School
A wonderful Primary School in SE London is looking to appoint an experienced SEN Teaching Assistant to support pupils across KS1 and KS2. This SEN Teaching Assistant role starts immediately, and the school is trialling candidates as soon as possible.
As an SEN Teaching Assistant, you will support children with Autism, communication difficulties and a range of learning needs. You will work closely with class teachers, the SENCO and intervention staff to ensure pupils receive consistent and structured support.
The SEN Teaching Assistant role involves:
Providing 1:1 and small-group support across Years 1-6
Using visual prompts, communication strategies and structured routines
Supporting pupils with sensory needs and emotional regulation
Liaising regularly with staff and external professionals
The school seeks an SEN Teaching Assistant who:
Has strong SEN experience in a primary setting
Understands Autism, communication needs and learning barriers
Can build strong, trusting relationships with pupils
Is able to start immediately and commit long term

Pay: £95-£110 per day
