Teaching Assistant - Primary Schools - Haringey
Primary schools across the Borough of Haringey are seeking reliable and enthusiastic Teaching Assistants to support pupils across EYFS, KS1 and KS2. This Teaching Assistant role is ideal for candidates looking for daily supply or longer-term opportunities within welcoming, well-supported school environments.
As a Teaching Assistant, you will work alongside class teachers to support learning, behaviour, and pupil engagement. Schools are particularly keen to hear from Teaching Assistants with experience supporting children with SEN, including Autism and behavioural needs, though this is not essential.
The Teaching Assistant role will involve:
Supporting pupils in class as a Teaching Assistant across primary year groups
Working 1:1 or in small groups as a Teaching Assistant
Assisting with behaviour management and engagement
Supporting pupils with SEN where required
Working collaboratively with teachers and school staff as a Teaching Assistant
The ideal Teaching Assistant will have:
Previous experience working as a Teaching Assistant or in a school setting
A positive, patient, and proactive approach
Strong communication skills
An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply)

Pay: £85-£110 per day (depending on experience)
