Contract: Full-time, long-term (Temp to Perm opportunity)
Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00am - 3:30pm (30-minute lunch)
Pay: £95 - £111 per day (PAYE or Umbrella)
About the Role - Teaching Assistant
We are seeking an experienced Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming primary school in an EYFS setting. This Teaching Assistant role is full-time, long-term, and offers the potential to transition into a permanent position.
The successful Teaching Assistant will initially work in Reception and, over time, move into the Nursery class. This is an ideal opportunity for a Teaching Assistant with EYFS experience who wants to make a real difference in the early years of learning.
Key Responsibilities - Teaching Assistant
- Support learning and development as a Teaching Assistant
- Assist with phonics, early maths, and play-based activities
- Provide 1:1 and small group support as a Teaching Assistant
- Help create a safe, nurturing, and engaging EYFS environment
- Work closely with the class teacher and team as a Teaching Assistant
- Monitor progress and provide feedback to teaching staff
Requirements - Teaching Assistant
- Level 3 Early Years qualification (essential)
- Previous EYFS school experience as a Teaching Assistant
- Knowledge of the EYFS framework and early years practice
- Patient, proactive, and relationship-focused
- Commitment to safeguarding and promoting children's welfare
