About the Role
A welcoming and inclusive primary school in Greenwich is looking to appoint a dedicated Learning Support Assistant to join their team from 3rd November. This is a fantastic opportunity to work closely with pupils who need additional support to achieve their best in a positive and engaging learning environment.
As a Learning Support Assistant, you'll play a key role in helping children overcome barriers to learning, develop confidence, and build essential skills both academically and socially.
Key Responsibilities
Provide individual and small-group support to pupils across the classroom.
Assist the class teacher with planning and delivering engaging lessons.
Help children with additional learning needs to access the curriculum.
Support positive behaviour and encourage pupil independence.
Work closely with the SENCO and teaching team to implement learning strategies.
Candidate Requirements
Previous experience as a Learning Support Assistant or similar school-based role.
Understanding of primary education and supporting children with diverse needs.
Patient, adaptable, and enthusiastic approach to learning support.
Strong teamwork and communication skills.
