Responsibilities:

  • Provide one-on-one support to the young boy, assisting him in accessing the curriculum and achieving his learning goals.
  • Foster a positive and inclusive environment, using your knowledge of sports to engage and motivate the student.
  • Implement strategies and techniques to support his social and emotional development, promoting independence and self-confidence.
  • Collaborate with the class teacher and other professionals to create personalised learning plans and monitor progress.
  • Maintain effective communication with parents and guardians, providing regular updates on the student's progress and well-being.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience as an SEN Teaching Assistant or working with children with special educational needs.
  • A genuine passion for sports and the ability to incorporate it into learning activities.
  • Knowledge and understanding of Autism, with experience implementing strategies and techniques to support individuals on the spectrum.
  • A patient and nurturing approach, combined with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • The ability to be a positive role model, inspiring and motivating the student to reach his full potential.
