Responsibilities:
- Provide one-on-one support to the young boy, assisting him in accessing the curriculum and achieving his learning goals.
- Foster a positive and inclusive environment, using your knowledge of sports to engage and motivate the student.
- Implement strategies and techniques to support his social and emotional development, promoting independence and self-confidence.
- Collaborate with the class teacher and other professionals to create personalised learning plans and monitor progress.
- Maintain effective communication with parents and guardians, providing regular updates on the student's progress and well-being.
Requirements:
- Previous experience as an SEN Teaching Assistant or working with children with special educational needs.
- A genuine passion for sports and the ability to incorporate it into learning activities.
- Knowledge and understanding of Autism, with experience implementing strategies and techniques to support individuals on the spectrum.
- A patient and nurturing approach, combined with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
