Reeson Education is looking for a dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming primary school in East London, specifically within the borough of Waltham Forest. Your Role as a SEN Teaching Assistant:
As a SEN Teaching Assistant, you will be supporting pupils with a range of needs including Autism (ASD), ADHD, Speech & Language difficulties, and Social, Emotional & Mental Health (SEMH) needs.
The successful SEN Teaching Assistant will:
- Provide 1:1 and small group support
- Work closely with the class teacher and SENCO
- Implement EHCP targets and tailored interventions
- Help create a nurturing and inclusive learning environment
This SEN Teaching Assistant role is ideal for someone patient, proactive and confident supporting children with additional needs in a primary setting.
We're Looking For in a SEN Teaching Assistant:
- Previous experience as a SEN Teaching Assistant
- Experience supporting children with SEND in a school setting
- A calm, resilient and caring approach
- A genuine passion for working as a SEN Teaching Assistant
