A supportive and inclusive primary school in Ealing is seeking a dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant to join their specialist provision/unit. This is a rewarding opportunity to work closely with children who have a range of additional needs, helping them access learning, build confidence, and develop key life skills.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide tailored support to pupils within the school's SEN unit

  • Assist with individual and small-group learning activities

  • Implement personalised learning and behaviour strategies

  • Support pupils with communication, emotional regulation and social skills

  • Work collaboratively with the SENCO, class teachers and external professionals

  • Create a safe, positive and engaging learning environment

  • Support with personal care where required (training provided)

About You

  • Experience working with children with SEND (e.g., autism, ADHD, speech & language needs, or learning difficulties)

  • Patient, empathetic and committed to inclusive education

  • Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a team

  • Adaptable, resilient, and able to respond calmly to challenging situations

  • Passionate about helping children thrive and celebrate their achievements
