SEN Teaching Assistant | 1:1 Support | £90-£100 per day | September Start | Leyton, East London

This role is a 1:1 support position starting in September, perfect for candidates with experience working with Moderate Learning Difficulties (MLD), Severe Learning Difficulties (SLD), and a willingness to assist with personal care.

Your Role as an SEN Teaching Assistant:

  • Implement tailored support strategies that cater to the pupil's individual needs, fostering a positive and inclusive learning environment.
  • Collaborate with the class teacher and SENCO to adapt lessons and resources, ensuring accessibility and engagement for the pupil.

We're Looking For in an SEN Teaching Assistant:

  • Experience working with children with Special Educational Needs, particularly those with MLD and SLD.
  • A compassionate, patient, and proactive approach to supporting pupils with additional needs.
  • Willingness to assist with personal care tasks, ensuring the pupil's well-being and comfort.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a team.
