Responsibilities of an SEN Teaching Assistant
Supporting pupils with SEN in-class and during interventions
Providing structured support for behaviour, focus and engagement
Helping with communication strategies and emotional regulation
Following SEN plans with guidance from teachers and SENCOs
Adapting to different schools, staff teams and routines
We're Looking For an SEN Teaching Assistant Who:
Has previous SEN experience (autism/ADHD/SEMH/SLCN)
Is confident, patient and proactive
Can work flexibly across the week
Can build rapport quickly with children and staff
Is reliable for short-notice supply bookings
