SEN Teaching Assistant - Chiswick - Full-Time, Temp to Perm - After Easter Start
We are currently seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic SEN Teaching Assistant to join a supportive special needs school in Chiswick. This is a full-time, temp-to-perm opportunity for someone who is passionate about helping children with additional needs achieve their full potential in a nurturing and structured environment.

The Role:
You will be supporting primary-aged pupils with a range of special educational needs, including autism, global developmental delay, and speech and language needs. Working alongside the class teacher and wider support team, you will help deliver personalised learning and provide consistent emotional and behavioural support.
SEN Teaching Assistant Responsibilities:
- Support pupils on a 1:1 basis and in small groups
- Assist in delivering tailored learning activities
- Help pupils engage with lessons and school routines
- Encourage independence, communication, and social skills
- Contribute to a calm, safe, and structured classroom environment
SEN Teaching Assistant Attributes:
- Experience working with children or young people (SEN experience desirable but not essential)
- Patient, calm, and nurturing approach
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- A genuine interest in supporting children with additional needs
