Location: Manchester
Start Date: ASAP
Contract: Full-Time | Ongoing (until end of academic year, with potential to extend)
Pay: £220 - £320 per day (DOE, PAYE or Umbrella)

The Role:

This SENDCo role is based within a SEND primary setting in the M13r area, seeking an experienced and committed SENDCo to join their team on a full-time basis. The SENDCo will also support a second site in M20, so flexibility and the ability to work across both locations is essential.

As a SENDCo, you will lead on SEND provision across the school, ensuring all pupils with additional needs are supported effectively. This SENDCo role also includes DSL responsibilities, making it ideal for a SENDCo with strong safeguarding experience.

This SENDCo position is available ASAP for the remainder of the academic year, with the potential to extend beyond.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead SEND provision as a SENDCo across the primary setting
    * Manage EHCPs, reviews, and SEND documentation
    * Work closely with staff, parents, and external agencies
    * Support and guide teaching staff on SEND strategies
    * Carry out DSL duties and ensure safeguarding procedures are followed
    * Work across both M13 and M20 sites as part of the SENDCo role

SENDCo Requirements:

  • Relevant SENDCo qualification (or working towards)
    * Experience working as a SENDCo within a school setting
    * DSL experience and/or safeguarding qualifications
    * Strong knowledge of SEND processes, EHCPs, and interventions
    * Ability to lead, organise, and communicate effectively
    * Flexible and adaptable approach across multiple sites
