Reception Teaching Assistant

A warm, efficient, and inclusive school in the heart of London is offering a long-term intervention teacher role from September 2022 until July 2023. This is a great opportunity in a school close to Brixton station.
Role requirements of a Reception Teaching assistant:
- Able to work effectively with small groups
- Experience working in EYFS
- A willingness to help in extra curriculum activities
- Able to work effectively with small groups
- Familiar with Phonics
- EYFS Experience (desirable)
Main responsibilities for a Reception Teaching Assistant:
- To assist the classroom teacher in take engaging lessons
- Making sure the interventions are in line with the schools needs
- Co-ordinate effectively with Class Teacher
- To perform safeguarding duties
- Perform interventions
- Happy to organise and plan short sessions
