Reeson Education is excited to announce a unique opportunity to work at an outstanding special needs school in a full-time, long-term role starting immediately. This role will involve working with students who have autism between the ages of 4-18 in Key Stage 1-5.
As a general TA, you will provide additional support to students in their day-to-day lessons and have experience using augmentative and alternative communication. You will also work alongside the class teacher to assess and monitor the students' progress, set achievable targets, and celebrate individual milestones.
We believe that every child deserves the best possible education, and we want to find individuals who share this same passion. If you have previous experience working with autism or complex needs in a classroom setting, that is fantastic! However, we welcome applications from anyone who has a basic understanding of autism and a willingness to learn.
This is a full-time role, Monday to Friday, from 8.30 am to 4.00 pm. We are looking for someone who is available to start immediately and who is committed to making a positive impact on the lives of these students.
