SEN Teaching Assistant - SEN School - North West London
We are looking for a SEN Teaching Assistant to support children with moderate SEN Needs. This is for an September start long term and ongoing position.
We need a friendly SEN Teaching Assistant or possibly two who have at least some recent experience working within a school setting and who has experience working with SEN students. This job will not entail personal care as the students are more able and independent. You'll be supporting students working at Year 3/4 levels but who are 11 and 12 years old. They have a diagnosis of mild autism and most of their needs will revolve around social anxiety and delayed academic attainment levels. There will be 8 pupils in the class and you will be working as part of a team of 3 TAs who are under the supervision of an experienced, friendly and supportive teacher.
