About the Teaching Assistant Role: As a Full-Time Teaching Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting the educational and personal development of students in a mainstream Catholic primary school. Teaching Assistant Key Responsibilities:
- Provide one-on-one and small group support to students, both in and out of the classroom.
- Assist the class teacher in delivering engaging lessons and activities.
- Adapt learning materials and resources to suit the needs and abilities of individual students.
- Foster positive relationships with students, promoting their self-esteem and confidence.
- Promote the school's values and ethos within the classroom.
- Collaborate with colleagues to ensure the well-being and progress of all students.
- Assist with administrative tasks as required.
Teaching Assistant Requirements:
- Experience: You have prior experience working as a Teaching Assistant or in a similar role in a school setting.
- Enthusiasm and Dedication: You are passionate about education and dedicated to the success of your students.
- Teamwork: You are a collaborative team player, willing to work closely with colleagues and support the school community.
- Enhanced DBS Check: You have an up-to-date enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check, or you are willing to undergo one.
- Eligibility: You are eligible to work in the UK.
- Able to work Monday to Friday 8:30-3:30pm on a long term term time basis
