Full-Time Reception Teaching Assistant - Roehampton

Are you a dedicated and qualified Teaching Assistant with a Level 3 qualification for working in EYFS? We have an exciting opportunity for you to join our team as a part-Time Reception Teaching Assistant at a mainstream primary school in Roehampton, starting on November 27th, 2023.

About the Teaching Assistant Role:

As a part-Time Reception Teaching Assistant, you will play an essential role in the educational journey of young learners in the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS). Your commitment and expertise will help create a nurturing and stimulating learning environment where children can thrive academically and personally.

Teaching Assistant Key Responsibilities:

  • Work closely with the class teacher to deliver engaging lessons and activities suitable for the EYFS.
  • Provide one-on-one and small group support to students, ensuring that each child's specific learning needs are met.
  • Create a safe, inclusive, and supportive classroom atmosphere that encourages children's participation and curiosity.
  • As a Teaching Assistant, you will collaborate with the class teacher and other staff members to facilitate the well-being and progress of students.
  • Assist with administrative tasks related to classroom organization and planning.

Teaching Assistant Requirements:

To excel in this teaching assistant role, you should have:

  • A Level 3 qualification for working in EYFS, demonstrating your expertise in supporting early childhood education.
