I am currently recruiting for several SEN Teaching Assistant roles within a highly regarded special needs school located in the heart of Barking.

SEN Teaching Assistant - Barking / The School:

  • Caters for children aged 2 to 19

  • Supports students with autism, moderate, and/or severe learning difficulties

  • Spread across three well-resourced, welcoming sites (EYFS, Primary, and Secondary)

  • Renowned for delivering outstanding specialist education for SEN pupils

  • A well-established, nurturing and inclusive school where you can make a real impact

  • Based in Barking with on-site parking

SEN Teaching Assistant - Barking / The Role:

  • Supporting the class teacher in a specialist SEN environment

  • Assisting with personal care tasks such as feeding and changing when required

  • Working alongside the teacher and up to three additional support staff

  • Supporting students with classroom learning as well as during off-site educational trips

  • Ideal for candidates with experience in schools, care settings, or as a support worker

  • Working with students aged 3-19 with autism and moderate/severe learning needs

  • Trial days arranged ASAP
