We are currently looking for a Teaching Assistant who is passionate about assisting children with reaching their full potential during their life at school. Our Client School is an "Outstanding" 2 form entry in the Borough of Hackney who seek dynamic and engaging individuals to take on Teaching Assistant roles.
The ideal candidate should have a kind and caring nature, combined with the ability to be patient. You must be flexible, adapable and able to communicate with children form a variety of socio-economic backgrounds. As a Teaching Assistant within this school you will be working with a Key Stage 2 Class (Year 6) and supporting them with their reading and writing, communication and social skills.
What does being a Teaching Assistant entail?
- Supporting the class teacher in setting up activities and the classroom
- Reporting on individual progress
- Liaising with parents
- Managing behaviour
- Working closely with the class teacher, SLT and SENDCO to drive improvement
