About the Role
A friendly and well-organised Lambeth primary school near Kennington Station is looking to appoint a dedicated Teaching Assistant to support a Year 2 class from February. The role involves a balance of whole-class support, targeted small-group interventions, and additional SEN support for pupils who need help accessing learning.
The class is calm and responsive, with clear routines and a supportive class teacher who values teamwork and initiative.
The Ideal Candidate
The school would like a Teaching Assistant who:
Has experience supporting KS1 pupils
Is confident assisting with phonics and early numeracy
Can support children with additional learning needs
Is proactive, patient, and reliable
Works well under direction while showing initiative
Graduates in Education, Psychology, English, or Childhood Studies are encouraged to apply, though school experience is equally valued.
