The Opportunity
A forward-thinking primary school in Lambeth is looking to appoint a proactive Teaching Assistant to join their KS2 team after the Easter holidays. This is a classroom-based role supporting teaching and learning across the whole class, with some targeted support for pupils who require additional academic guidance.
The school has a strong focus on raising attainment and building pupil independence. You will play an important role in supporting literacy and numeracy interventions, reinforcing lesson objectives, and helping pupils stay on track throughout the day.
What You'll Be Doing
Supporting whole-class learning under the direction of the class teacher
Delivering small group booster sessions in English and Maths
Providing structured academic support to pupils working below age-related expectations
Encouraging positive behaviour and engagement
Assisting with classroom preparation and organisation
