About the Role
A friendly and well-organised Greenwich primary school is seeking an EYFS Teaching Assistant to support learning in a Nursery class. The role involves a mix of general classroom support and targeted small-group work, helping pupils develop early communication, social skills, and independence.
As an EYFS Teaching Assistant, you will work closely with the class teacher to support play-based learning, phonics readiness, and daily routines. The setting is calm, well-resourced, and led by an experienced EYFS team.
The Ideal Candidate
The school is looking for an EYFS Teaching Assistant who:
Has experience working in EYFS or early years settings
Understands child-led and play-based learning
Is warm, engaging, and proactive
Can support early language and social development
Holds an Enhanced DBS (or is willing to apply)
