Pay: £95-£110 per day

About the Role
A welcoming primary school in the Clapham area of Lambeth is seeking a dedicated Teaching Assistant to join their support team from April 2026 for the Summer Term, with the possibility of continuing into the next academic year.
This role will involve providing one-to-one support for pupils with moderate special educational needs within a mainstream classroom. The successful Teaching Assistant will also deliver small group interventions to help pupils develop key literacy, numeracy and communication skills.
You will work closely with the class teacher and SENCO to implement structured support strategies that help pupils stay engaged, build confidence and make consistent progress throughout the term.
The school has a strong reputation for its inclusive approach, and staff work collaboratively to ensure pupils receive the right level of support.
The Ideal Candidate
The school is keen to appoint a Teaching Assistant who:
Has experience supporting pupils with SEN in a primary setting
Is patient, adaptable and confident working one-to-one with pupils
Can deliver small group intervention sessions effectively
Builds positive relationships with pupils and staff
Is reliable, proactive and committed to supporting pupil progress
Experience supporting pupils with additional learning needs such as autism, ADHD or speech and language difficulties would be advantageous.
