SEN Teaching Assistant - Complex Needs - Lambeth
Location: Lambeth (near Tulse Hill Station)
Start Date: 13th April
Contract: Full-time | Summer Term with strong likelihood of extension
Pay: £95-£115 per day

The Role
A supportive and well-regarded primary school in Lambeth is seeking a committed SEN Teaching Assistant to join their specialist provision supporting pupils with complex needs from 13th April.
The provision supports pupils with a combination of medical, physical and cognitive learning needs. Staff work closely together to provide a calm, structured environment where pupils can access personalised learning and therapy-informed activities.
The class currently has eight pupils and benefits from an excellent staffing ratio, with one class teacher and six Teaching Assistants working together to provide consistent and attentive support throughout the school day.

Key Responsibilities
Supporting pupils with complex medical, physical and learning needs
Assisting with personal care where required
Supporting communication and engagement through structured activities
Helping pupils access adapted classroom learning
Working closely with the class teacher and SEN team
The Ideal Candidate
The school is looking for a Teaching Assistant who:
Has experience supporting pupils with complex SEN or additional needs
Is patient, compassionate, and highly attentive to pupil wellbeing
Is confident working as part of a large support team
Experience in SEN settings, care environments, or supporting pupils with physical or medical needs would be highly beneficial.
