About the Role
A high-achieving Tower Hamlets primary school is seeking a motivated Graduate Teaching Assistant to support learning in a Year 5 class. This role is ideal for a graduate considering a future career in teaching and looking to gain hands-on classroom experience.
As a Graduate Teaching Assistant, you will provide in-class support, deliver targeted interventions in literacy and numeracy, and work with small groups to help raise attainment. You will be supported by an experienced KS2 team and senior leadership.
The Ideal Candidate
The school is keen to appoint a Graduate Teaching Assistant who:
Holds a degree (e.g. English, Maths, Psychology, Education, Sociology)
Has experience tutoring or working with children (desirable)
Is confident, organised, and eager to learn
Can support pupils academically and pastorally
Is considering teacher training in the future
