About the Role
A warm and inclusive Lambeth primary school is seeking an experienced SEN Teaching Assistant to support a Reception pupil with global developmental delay. The role begins in January, with trial sessions available immediately.
As an SEN Teaching Assistant, you will help with early communication skills, play-based learning, sensory routines, and structured one-to-one activities. The EYFS team is highly collaborative, offering guidance and clear strategies to help the child progress.
The Ideal Candidate
The school hopes to recruit an SEN Teaching Assistant who:
Has experience in EYFS or supporting children with developmental delay
Is warm, patient, and able to follow structured support plans
Can use visuals, repetition, and modelling to reinforce learning
Enjoys working in a play-centred environment with young learners
