Are you an experienced SEN Teaching Assistant looking for your next role in a supportive and high-achieving school?
We are working with an Outstanding-rated primary school in Islington that is seeking a dedicated Teaching Assistant to support pupils within their specialist SEN unit. This role involves working with children across KS1 and KS2 who have a range of additional learning needs.

The Role
Supporting pupils with additional learning needs within the school's SEN unit
Working with children across Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2
Providing 1:1 and small group support
Assisting with personalised learning plans and classroom activities
Promoting a positive, safe, and engaging learning environment
Requirements
Previous experience working with children with SEN is essential
Strong understanding of a range of additional needs (e.g. ASD, ADHD, speech and language)
A patient, proactive, and nurturing approach
Ability to work effectively as part of a team
