Teaching Assistant - ASD & Behaviour - KS1 / KS2 - Haringey
A welcoming Primary School in Haringey is seeking a dedicated Teaching Assistant to support pupils with ASD and behavioural needs across KS1 or KS2.
This Teaching Assistant role will involve a mix of 1:1 and in-class support, helping pupils manage behaviour, engage with learning, and develop social skills.
Teaching Assistant responsibilities include:
Supporting pupils with ASD and behaviour needs within the classroom
Following individual support plans and behaviour strategies
Encouraging positive interactions and engagement
Working closely with teaching staff and external professionals
We are looking for a Teaching Assistant who:
Has experience supporting children with ASD and behaviour
Is confident managing dysregulated behaviour
Brings a calm, consistent, and nurturing approach
Has worked in a UK primary or SEN environment
Applicants must have an Enhanced DBS on the update service or be willing to apply for one through us.
