Teaching Assistant - EYFS - Primary School - Haringey
A welcoming Primary School in Haringey is seeking a dedicated Teaching Assistant to support within EYFS. This Teaching Assistant role is ideal for someone with strong Early Years experience who can support whole-class learning while also working with children who have additional needs.
The successful Teaching Assistant will work closely with the class teacher to support phonics, early maths, and child-led learning activities. As a Teaching Assistant, you will also provide targeted support to pupils with SEND, including ASD and speech and language needs.
Teaching Assistant Responsibilities:
Supporting Reception pupils as a Teaching Assistant
Delivering small group phonics sessions as a Teaching Assistant
Supporting children with SEND in the EYFS setting as a Teaching Assistant
Assisting with personal care where required as a Teaching Assistant
Supporting outdoor learning and play-based development as a Teaching Assistant
Working collaboratively with the EYFS team as a Teaching Assistant
Promoting positive behaviour and routines as a Teaching Assistant
This Teaching Assistant role would suit someone proactive, nurturing, and confident working in Early Years.
Applicants must have an Enhanced DBS on the update service or be willing to apply for one through us.
