Role Overview:

As an SEN Teaching Assistant, you will play a crucial role in supporting primary-aged children within the ASC provision. Your responsibilities will include assisting with classroom activities, providing one-on-one support, and helping to create a positive and inclusive learning environment. The children need positive role models who can engage with them and support their individual needs effectively.



Key Responsibilities for the SEN Teaching Assistant:

  • Work closely with the class teacher and other support staff to deliver tailored support to students with ASC
  • Assist in the preparation and execution of lessons and activities
  • Provide one-on-one or small group support to students, ensuring their needs are met
  • Foster a supportive and inclusive classroom environment
