Job Title: Teaching Assistant
Location: M16, Manchester
Pay Range: £13.69 to £15.87 per hour
Work Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8:30 AM - 3:30 PM (30-minute lunch break)

Reeson Education is currently seeking a caring and committed Teaching Assistant to support a Key Stage 1 pupil on a 1:1 basis in a welcoming and inclusive primary school in the M16 area of Manchester. This Teaching Assistant role is to start as soon as possible and will continue on a full-time, long-term basis.

The Teaching Assistant will provide individualised support to a pupil with special educational needs (SEND), helping them access learning, manage routines, and develop confidence. You will work closely with the class teacher and the school's SEND team to ensure consistent, high-quality support.

About the Teaching Assistant Role:
* Provide 1:1 support for a KS1 pupil with SEND in the classroom setting
* Adapt learning materials to meet the pupil's individual needs
* Support emotional regulation and encourage positive social interaction
* Work closely with teachers, SENCO, and parents to ensure a joined-up approach
* Help implement EHCP strategies and daily learning routines
* Ensure a calm, inclusive, and safe environment for the pupil

The Ideal Teaching Assistant Will:
* Have experience working as a Teaching Assistant in KS1 or EYFS
* Be confident supporting children with ASD, ADHD, or other SEND needs
* Demonstrate strong behaviour management and emotional regulation strategies
* Be reliable, patient, and nurturing
* Have a relevant Level 2 or 3 qualification (preferred)
* Be confident working collaboratively with the class teacher and wider staff team

Teaching Assistant Requirements:
* Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply)
* Right to work in the UK
* Professional references covering the last 2-3 years
* Experience supporting children with SEND in a school setting
