Hours: Full-time, Monday to Friday (8:30am-4:00pm)
Pay: £13.69 to £15.87 per hour (PAYE or Umbrella)

A large, welcoming primary school in the M20 area of South Manchester is seeking a dedicated Teaching Assistant to join their Upper Key Stage 2 team. This long-term, full-time Teaching Assistant role is ideal for someone confident working across both Year 5 and Year 6, supporting pupils in class as well as providing targeted 1:1 support where required.

Teaching Assistant - Key Responsibilities:
- Support teaching and learning across Upper Key Stage 2 as a committed Teaching Assistant
* Provide 1:1 support for pupils who need additional help with learning, behaviour, or emotional regulation
* Work closely with the class teacher to deliver engaging and accessible lessons
* Set up resources and assist with daily classroom routines as a proactive Teaching Assistant
* Deliver small group interventions in areas such as reading, maths, and SATs preparation
* Promote positive behaviour and maintain a calm, consistent learning environment
* Adapt strategies to meet the needs of different learners across UPKS2
* Communicate effectively with staff and parents where needed as a reliable Teaching Assistant
* Support pupils' social, emotional, and academic development
* Uphold the school's values and expectations in all aspects of your work as a Teaching Assistant
Teaching Assistant - Requirements:
- Previous experience as a Teaching Assistant in a primary school (UPKS2 preferred)
* Strong behaviour management and the confidence to work with older primary pupils
* Ability to deliver both general classroom support and targeted 1:1 intervention
* Commitment to full-time, long-term work, Monday to Friday
* A positive, nurturing, and proactive approach to supporting learners
* An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service, or willingness to obtain one
* A genuine passion for supporting children as a dedicated Teaching Assistant
