Reeson Education is currently seeking enthusiastic teaching assistants to join a supportive primary special needs school in Tower Hamlets, with an immediate start available. This school is looking for individuals who are eager to utilize their creative talents to engage students on a one-to-one basis and within classroom settings, fostering a diverse approach to learning. While prior experience is beneficial, it is not a prerequisite; the school is primarily seeking candidates who are passionate about education and comfortable working with children with special needs. For all successful applicants, the school is committed to investing in its staff and will provide comprehensive onsite training throughout the duration of the role.

As a teaching assistant, you will be part of a class of 6-8 students, offering support throughout the day, both in class and on an individual basis. Your responsibilities will include following a tailored curriculum, providing academic and social support, and assisting with a variety of lessons such as music, art, cooking, and numeracy and literacy. Given the nature of the school, you will work with students who have a range of needs, including speech and language difficulties, mild autism, physical disabilities, and learning challenges.
