About the Role
We are seeking a dedicated Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming primary school team. This is a varied and rewarding role combining classroom support, lunchtime supervision, and small group wellbeing interventions. Key Responsibilities
- Support pupils in reading, maths, and classroom activities as a Teaching Assistant.
- Deliver small group wellbeing interventions as a Teaching Assistant in the afternoons.
- As a Teaching Assistant you will supervise lunchtimes, encouraging positive play and healthy eating.
- As a teaching Assistant you will provide feedback to teachers and maintain accurate observations of pupil progress.
What We're Looking For
- Previous experience as a Teaching Assistant or working with children (school experience preferred).
- Caring, calm, and patient with strong interpersonal skills.
- As a teaching Assistant you will have the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Good English and Maths skills.
- Excellent behaviour management and understanding of safeguarding.
