Are you a an English, Maths or Science Graduate with experience tutoring children aged 10 -11 years of age?

Are you great at explaining abstract ideas in a way that's easy to understand?

We have an exciting opportunity for you to join a mainstream school as a teaching assistant from February 19th 2024.

Position: Teaching Assistant - Year 6 SAT's Support
Location: Brent - NW10
Pay: £100 per day

Key Responsibilities of a teaching assistant:

  • Providing group support to year 6 children sitting their SAT's before advancing to secondary school.
  • Implementing strategies to help children learn in a fun and engaging manner.
  • Collaborating with the class teacher to adapt learning materials and activities.
  • Offering emotional support and encouragement to build confidence and self-esteem.


  • Experience as a graduate teaching assistant or tutor.
  • Minimum qualifications - GCSE level education - 5 - 9 (C - A*)
  • Excellent spoken and written English is essential.
  • A compassionate and patient approach to working with children.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.
  • A commitment to the child's well-being and academic progress.
